Terms and conditions

Simple, fair terms for every quote and job. They don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer. Last updated 1 November 2026.

1. Quotes and prices

  • Our quotes are fixed and written. The price you agree is the price you pay.
  • A quote is valid for 30 days.
  • Quotes from photos are based on the sizes and glass you show us. We check everything on site before fitting. If the job is different (more windows, different glass, harder access), we’ll tell you the new price before we start, and you can say no.
  • Our minimum job is £195. Extra windows on the same visit start from £45 each.

2. Deposits, payment and cancellations

  • A 25% deposit books your date. The balance is due on the day the job is finished. We accept bank transfer and card.
  • Your 14-day right to cancel. If you book with us away from business premises (at your home, by phone, WhatsApp or online), you can cancel within 14 days of booking and get your deposit back in full. If you ask us to fit within those 14 days and then cancel, you pay only for work already done.
  • After 14 days, more than 48 hours before fitting: we refund your deposit, less the cost of any film we bought specially for your job. We’ll show you the receipt.
  • Less than 48 hours before fitting: we may keep the deposit to cover film bought for your job and the booked time we can’t refill.
  • If we need to move your date (illness, weather for outside work, a supplier delay), we’ll tell you as soon as we can and offer the next free date. If that doesn’t suit you, we refund your deposit in full.
  • Film stays our property until the balance is paid.

3. Access and preparation

  • Please clear about 1 metre in front of each window and take down blinds or curtains if you can.
  • We need somewhere to park nearby, and access to water and a plug socket.
  • For high windows or conservatory roofs, we need safe space for ladders or a platform. We won’t fit anywhere we can’t reach safely.
  • If we can’t get to the windows when we arrive, we may need to rebook, and a call-out charge may apply.

4. Drying time and haze

  • Film is fitted with a water-based solution and takes time to dry out fully, usually a few weeks, longer in cold or damp weather.
  • While it dries you may see slight haze, small water bubbles or streaks. This is normal and clears on its own. Please don’t press or pick at it.
  • Don’t clean the film for 7 days. After that, follow our aftercare guide.
  • If anything still looks wrong after 30 days, tell us and we’ll come and look.

5. Our 12-month workmanship guarantee

For 12 months from fitting, if our fitting fails (lifting edges, peeling, or bubbles that don’t clear once the film has dried), we’ll come back and put it right free of charge. Many films also carry a separate manufacturer warranty. Its length depends on the film and is shown on your quote, and we’ll help you register it.

6. What isn’t covered

  • Glass that was already cracked, chipped, scratched or damaged before fitting.
  • Sealed units that fail (misting between the panes), or glass breaking from causes other than our work. We check your glass type before fitting and won’t fit film that isn’t suitable for it.
  • Damage from misuse: scratches, sharp objects, scrapers, harsh cleaners, or tape, stickers or suction cups on the film.
  • Normal haze and drying marks in the first weeks.
  • Film that someone else has altered, repaired or tried to remove.
  • Tiny specks or edge gaps that are normal for film fitted on site and can’t be seen from about 2 metres away.

7. Complaints

If you’re not happy, tell us straight away at [email protected]. We’ll reply within 2 working days and, where the problem is with our work, come back and fix it.

8. Your information

We only use your details to quote, do the job and look after you afterwards. See our privacy notice.
